Process milestones:

• Informed consent of the farmer family to participate in the programme
• Interventions designed and planned in consultation with people
• The seed bank replenishment
• Tapering of support to participants to 50% and 25% for second and third years, respectively.
• Formation of primary groups in villages
• Formation of village level committees with adequate participation of women and its involvement
  of project work in their respective village
• Primary groups as well as Village committees involved in construction of community halls, Poly
   house and water resource development works.
• Formal institutions of people at cluster level to take up and expand the programme further
• Capacity building of people’s institutions to maintain and manage assets created through project
   such as community centers, Poly houses, Processing technologies as well as WRD structures
• Establishing Linkages of these institutions with concerned government departments and other
  development agencies.
 
Poly house and community centers completed with the active involvement of participants:
Linkages established:
• Identification and certification of wells proposed for deepening by GSDA (Groundwater Surveys &
  Development Agency, GoM),
• Linkage with District Collector’s office for integration of Maharashtra Rural Employment
  Guarantee Scheme (MREGS) in water resource development at Nandurbar
• Subsidy for Sprinklers from agriculture department, Government of Maharashtra
• Spring development taken up with forest departments at Mandane, Nandurbar
• At Etapalli in Gadchiroli, certificates to handicapped persons are availed through our efforts.
 
Village committees at Khandbara cluster, Nandurbar are linked to the Farmers’ clubs programme of NABARD:
• Tasar activity initiated in coordination with forest department in Chandrapur and Gadchiroli and
   joint forest management committees at local levels.
• Collaboration with Director of Sericulture, Maharashtra
